This year was the Weld County Fair's 100th Anniversary, so it has been a very exciting fair season here in Greeley this week! Greeley Volkswagen was proud to attend and support the Fair's Junior Livestock Sale again this year. It's a great event that we've enjoyed being a part of year after year. We love seeing the community come together to support the 4H members who have worked so hard all year raising their livestock. It's no easy task, and we're so proud of the kids who learn such discipline through the process of raising their animals. This year, we purchased 2 cows and 2 pigs. All of the money spent goes directly to the kids, and buyers have the option to donate the meat from the livestock to the Weld County Food Bank. The event is such a great way to give back! All of us in Weld county are well aware of the hail that hit the Greeley and surrounding areas so hard during late June.
