Volkswagen rolled out all the stops to give the Beetle a proper send off. Powered by a 2.0L turbocharged engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, the Beetle can zip around at 174 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque, which is just the right speed for a nimble city cruiser.
Inside, the 2019 Beetle is highlighted by a 5” touchscreen display, leather seating throughout, blind spot monitoring, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. The rear seats fold flat to nearly double the coupe’s 15.4 cu. ft. of rear cargo space.
The Final Edition Beetle
Fittingly, Volkswagen introduced a special trim level for 2019 called the “Final Edition.”
The Final Edition comes as both a coupe or convertible option with two new and unique color schemes available. Inside is a 6.3” infotainment display compatible with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Additionally, the Final Edition features metal scuff plates, stainless-steel pedals, diamond-stitched leather seats, and a Safari Uni-colored dash panel.
